Abstract:
The integrated guidance system is an important approach to enhancing students’ scientific research and innovation capabilities. To strengthen the cultivation of scientific research and innovation capabilities among undergraduates majoring in information-related disciplines, and promote the in-depth integration of scientific research and teaching, the integrated guidance system has designed a progressive talent training path of “four-stage progression”—enlightenment, enhancement, breakthrough and transformation, with full coverage of all freshmen, dynamic management of supervisors, standardized system design, and incentive mechanisms for guidance effectiveness as its key pillars. Meanwhile, through the “five-dimensional linkage” of practical carrier—curriculum projects, discipline competitions, research projects, graduation design and achievement transformation, a full-chain talent training system has been constructed. This system realizes a tutorial system that covers the entire life cycle of innovation and entrepreneurship projects, thereby providing full-process training for students’ scientific research and innovation capabilities. Practice has shown that this model has achieved remarkable results in terms of participation rate in innovation and entrepreneurship activities, compliance rate of graduation design, and award-winning rate in first-class competitions, providing a reference for the cultivation of scientific research and innovation capabilities of undergraduates in engineering majors of universities.
