Abstract:
With the rapid development of new quality productive forces, the field of new materials has raised higher demands for the innovative talent cultivation of undergraduate materials science majors. In response to problems such as the lack of a stable mechanism for the entry of scientific research resources into the undergraduate training system, the lag in the update of course content, the insufficient connection between practical teaching and real scientific research and engineering scenarios, and the lack of progressive design in the cultivation of innovation capabilities, taking the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Yanshan University as an example, based on the concept of “integration of science and education”, an innovative talent cultivation mechanism has been explored and constructed. This mechanism is based on platform openness, guaranteed by team collaboration, centered on course transformation, pathed by project embedding, aimed at ability training, and grounded in institutional guarantee. This mechanism promotes the integration of research platforms, teams, projects, and courses throughout the entire process of undergraduate innovative talent cultivation, continuously improving the quality of innovative talent cultivation, gradually revealing the demonstration effect of the mechanism, and achieving good results. It has practical significance and application value.
